  1. Summary: The Jedi Order within BLN have reached a stagnant sate in terms of progression. Many active Jedi are currently stuck at their ranks Knight/Sentinel/Consular. This ended up causing periods of burn out or them leaving the order. Due to the lack of promotions or being chosen to take up the mantle of Master, some are even considering leaving the server entirely. While this mainly goes for the Jedi, I'm sure some clone troopers can relate.

The reason why we all play on this server is because we've grown attached to the community and some events are fun; despite it being a minge-fest at times. But the main glue that kept people playing is the sense of achievement we all get through a promotion. However, this comes to an end when the players are all stuck in the same promotion for long periods of time. At that point, the fun comes to an end. The CO/XO gets their meeting once in a blue moon, but eventually, they'll move up in the ladder. The Jedi are forced to stay in the quagmire and do nothing, aside from waiting for somebody to be picked as a Master.

    Current Ranks

Grand Master - Unavailable to Players
    High Master
    Master -
Chosen by High Master through Resh.
    Knight/Sentinel/Consular/Guardian - Varies
    Padawan - Varies
Initiate - 2 Week Trial or Illum Event
    Trainee - 1 Week Trial
    Youngling - N/A

Majority of the Jedi are currently in Knight/Sentinel/Consular/Guardian and are stuck there. We have nothing to do and we're just waiting for something to happen. Some of which have been there longer than myself, which pretty much sucks for them. With my Rank suggestion, it'll actually allow the Jedi to climb towards the Titles lesser than Master but it'll provide development and progression.

    Suggested Ranks

    Grand Master
    Unavailable to Players - [CANON]

High Jedi General - High Master

    Jedi General - Jedi Master

    Jedi High Marshal
High Marshal was a Galactic Republic military rank used during the Clone Wars by the Iron Knights. High Marshals were appointed by the Supreme Chancellor. Ilum and Dragite were High Marshals when they reemerged years before the Yuuzhan Vong War. [EU LORE]

    Jedi Marshal

    Jedi Lord
The title of Jedi Lord was an informal title assumed by members of the Jedi Order during the hundred year period between 1100 and 1000 BBY. During this time, Jedi Knights seeking to assist worlds left undefended by the Galactic Republic became so revered that the citizens of the worlds they defended gave them castles and manors from which to conduct their business. Over the decades, these Jedi took the title Lord and effectively ruled their constituent systems for a solid century before renouncing their titles in the years following the Ruusan Reformation. [EU LORE]

    Jedi Battlemaster
Battlemaster was a title held by Master Cin Drallig at the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, concurrently with that of Chief of Security. [CANON]

    Jedi Executor
An Executor was a position in the Jedi Covenant faction of the Jedi Order active in the era of the Mandalorian Wars. While not a seer like most of the other members of the Covenant, the Executor was responsible for handling arrangements and providing practical help and protection. Jedi Master Lucien Draay was the Executor for the Covenant's First WatchCircle. [EU LORE]

    Jedi Warden

    Jedi Vanguard

    Jedi Peacekeeper
A Jedi Peacekeeper was one of the oldest and most common roles that a member of the Jedi Order could specialize in. Classified under field of study undertaken by the Jedi Guardians, this specialization focused on police and security operations, working with local law enforcement agencies to suppress violence before it erupted. While the role of the Peacekeeper within the Order had remained constant throughout its history, the ideal held by these individuals was first compiled by the Guardian Jedi ace Crix Sunburris in the text, The Jedi Path: A Manual for Students of the Force. [EU LORE]

    Jedi Padawan

    Jedi Initiate

    Jedi Trainee
  2. Jedi Class

Through the journey of a Padawan, they'll eventually reach the point of advancing into a higher form of Jedi. Whether they become a Consular to master the force or a Sentinel to armies into battle. They must always ready to choose their next profession. By creating a form of Class system and not just using it for rank, this will allow the Jedi to develop their characters into something that'll fit their playstyle. From taking the healing approach or even the martial stance, the Class will cater to all forms.

Understand that by putting in these classes, abilities listed below will be off limit to other Jedi - thus making the class unique.

    Base Class - Jedi Knight
    Perks: None

    Valiant, Determined, Guardian of Peace

A symbol of hope in dark times, the Jedi Knight stands for the legacy of the Jedi Order more than twenty thousand years of protecting the Republic and keeping the peace across the galaxy. Though Jedi Knights have served as generals, guerilla fighters, and warriors for generations, their legendary combat prowess faces its greatest test during this age.

Through years of disciplined training and meditation, the Jedi Knight hones body and mind into perfect harmony. Combining the foresight of the Force with unrivaled reflexes and practiced physical precision, the Knight turns combat into an art form, gracefully executing acrobatic feats in tandem with elegant lightsaber tactics.

A source of inspiration to allies and intimidation to adversaries, the Jedi Knight’s presence is welcome in any confrontation. The Order’s long history of fighting for justice has earned the trust of countless friends and the hate of innumerable enemies. Few, though, are foolish enough to challenge a seasoned Jedi Knight unless they have the skills and technology to even the odds.

    Advance Class - Sentinel
    Exalted Class - Watchman
    Perks - Ravager Tree Unlock

Control and focus are the hallmarks of the Jedi Sentinel. Through years of training, Sentinels learn the art of using two lightsabers in tandem to create an intricate web of damage almost impossible to evade. By manipulating the Force, Sentinels can see holes in the enemy’s defense, potential flaws in their own techniques and how best to plan for both. All Jedi Sentinels can wield two lightsabers in combat, using speed and precision to strike enemies where they are weakest.

    Advance Class - Guardian
    Exalted Class - Vigilant
Perks - +2000 HP | Use of Rage

A wall between the Republic and its enemies, the Jedi Guardian stands firm in the face of overwhelming odds and dares opponents to attack. Perfect concentration and use of the Force allows smooth movement even in heavy armor–making the Guardian a hard target to take down. Leaders on and off the battlefield, Guardians also inspire allies to amazing feats, making them invaluable for conflicts of any size.

    Base Class - Jedi Consular
    Perks - Force Healing
Visionary, Ambassador, Seeker of Jedi Wisdom

For more than 20,000 years, the Jedi Order has worked to promote peace and balance in the Galactic Republic, but each new day brings with it a new threat, promising to rip the Jedi and the entire galaxy apart. If the Republic is to survive, it needs leaders and visionaries; it needs the Jedi Consular.

Jedi Consulars channel the power of the Force for strength in combat and wisdom in diplomacy. Years of arduous training and meditation have sharpened Consulars’ minds to cut to the truth as cleanly as their Lightsabers cut through their foes. Whether unlocking long forgotten mysteries of the Jedi, raising armies to fight for the Republic or engaging in mortal combat with Dark Lords of the Sith, the Consulars’ deep attunement to the Force gives them all the power they need to rise to the occasion with poise and balance.

Intimate atonement with the deepest Force mysteries gives Jedi Consulars the insight and empathy to deftly handle charged conflicts that confound even the most cunning Senators and governors—but Consulars know when it’s time to talk and when it’s time to fight. When negotiations turn aggressive, Consulars demonstrate their gifts of foresight—anticipating and deflecting enemy attacks with fluid strikes from their Lightsaber.

    Advance Class - Sage
    Exalted Class - Seer
Perks - Saberstaff, Group Heal, Force Combust, Kyber Slam

The mysteries of the Force are endless. A Jedi Sage, devoted to uncovering its esoteric secrets, knows this better than anyone. Sages are famed for their wisdom and empathy as much as for their powerful healing and defensive skills. In troubled times, a Sage brings together the insight of the past with raw power to change the flow of galactic events. All Jedi Sages embrace the teachings of the Force and can opt to learn the art of the Seer, healing wounded allies and protecting them from harm–restoring their life force and literally pulling them out of danger.

    Advance Class - Shadow
    Exalted Class - Infiltrator
Perks - Saberstaff, Purple Sabers, Cloak, Lightning Strike, Lightning Coil

A Shadow serves the Jedi Order by being a silent observer and, when action is necessary, a subtle hand. Shadows go unseen, employing Force techniques that cloud enemy minds to slip into hostile territory and, when necessary, striking enemies down with deadly efficiency. Shadows embrace the synergy between lightsaber and Force combat. All Jedi Shadows use the Force to conceal themselves and move invisibly behind enemy lines, as well as learn to use double-bladed lightsabers in either an offensive or defensive capacity. Shadows can also opt to learn Infiltration, becoming masters of stealth and ambush who forgo the head-on attack for the vulnerable flank.
  3. Spooky jedi ranks +1 for new ranks tho
  4. -1 Your making something complicated that shouldn't be complicated, we just need to keep it at it's normal state, I see no effort in doing this, it's going to confuse people and it has no reason to have more rank's, I'm not saying it's stupid, it's just unneeded.
  5. Well said, plus you guys no way in hell have even the numbers for this by a longshot.
  6. I also feel like your trying to go down the road of a SWTOR game, Like I said and or Resh said, You don't have the number's, And it's going to get confusing for new members.
