108th Blackwatch Operatives

Responsible for containment of enemy attacks and defending allies and securing areas as well as infections or outbreaks of mass destruction.

"Nobody is safe, nothing is holy, we will burn down our own to hold the last line of defense!"

Commissioned by General Resh under Sebastian Smythe's StratosTech, performed a few first cover ops for the General until making their "public" debut for the first time in a rescue operation of the Burst Link troops. As the troopers were nearly executed, Moon and his Corporal threw their reversal grenades at the droids, taking them out and giving time for the troops of the Burst Link to escape. However, the mission managed to secure most troopers, until the loss of a clone named "Gary" and "Pluto". Moon's corporal dubbed "Eli" also perished in the rescue op. From there, the 108th have been a public battalion for the Burst Link Venator only. (Moon notes how another ship stole the 10th Leviathan CO's armor and claims it as their own and just as "elite" as 10th. Moon doesn't buy it one bit and made it clear he has no intention of opening the 108th to other venators.)

Specialty Descriptions:

Blackwatch Operative - The main force of the 108th Operatives, with the custom made StratosTech "DC-16A3" the operatives focus on playing an assault supportive role to the frontlines and as well as helping out any battalions that need assistance, or any zones with lots of enemies. The rifle and units are advised to only use the guns at close to medium range. If an enemy is too far, call it out and leave it to a battalionS

Blackwatch Phantom Unit - The saviors of the operatives and others. Phantom units are more heavily equipped, both in armor and loadout. Consisting of 3 variants, each variant unit is assigned one temporal grenade. Depending on the variant, it creates a small bubble that warps time and space inside for a limited time. This is used as a support role. The main, most accurate one so far being the Reverb Unit, the decelerator and accelerator is being considered for a removal in general or has to be introduced in a more formal setting to confirm it's effects.

  • Reverb - Wields a reversal grenade that reverses time on objects, people & blaster rifle inside the energy field. If subject dies inside the energy field, they will be re-winded back in time to when they were still alive. This is accurate to their past position, angles, health, and weapons. (As verified by witness in mission report from when both 2nd Lieutenant Acapella and 1st Lieutenant Moon were inside the bubble as a trifighter shot and killed both of them, them being revived by the bubble instantly) as well as the main feature used besides revival is reflecting enemy shots back at the enemies. Best used in large-scale firefights against 10+ enemies and throwing it directly in front of the enemy, and proceeding to jump near the bubble causes enemies to unload their rounds into the bubble, only to deflect back at them and shooting them. General Resh notes how "It's important to inform the non-108th as well so they learn what to shot and not what to shoot.

The following two have been disabled for being too use

  • Accelator - Wields an accelerating grenade that accelerates time on objects and people inside the energy field. Best used to get on roof tops for non-climbing battalions that need to go to a high place. However, reports of it breaking physics and making subjects float until they reach a reversal grenade has made both the General and Sebastian Smythe debate it's removal.
  • Deccelerator - Wields a slowing grenade that slows time on objects, people & blasterfire inside the energy field. Main intent being for a charge up shot against enemies by unloading as many rounds into it as possible and then moving out of the way in case of enemy blasterfire, or to contain or slow an enemy. However, reports of it breaking physics and making subjects float until they reach a reversal grenade has made both the General and Sebastian Smythe debate it's removal.

IMPORTANT INFO:

  1. Showing disloyalty to the leader will cause in being demoted and kicked out.

  2. We are a family, trust your brothers, and report and conflicts. We can work it out.

  3. Anyone caught disrespecting other battalions will result in a demotion.

  4. LCPL and up may do training to lower 108th

Operatives are expected to show both respect and a professional attitude whilst in-service. Such respect can be shown by following these simple steps:

- Salute an Officer when they approach. When encountering multiple officers at once, salute the highest ranking officer present, not every individual (Unless in immedtiate or tentative combat)

- Refer to CO/XOs and above as "sir" when addressing them.

- Put your weapon on safety when an CO/XO or above is speaking to you.

- Give your undivided attention to a Commanding Officer when they are speaking, especially in the case of a briefing.

- Stand at attention unless ordered otherwise when being addressed by an XO or above. If ordered “At ease”, then position yourself into parade rest.

Promotions:

Promotions are based off of personal merit and contribution to the 108th. Your time in the battalion will have an effect on your promotion but will not be the deciding factor over all. Your attitude, ability, and teamwork.

There are certain ways to decrease the amount of days until promotions by either getting a recommendation from an officer of another battalion, a jedi knight or above, or a high ranking naval, those both count as one day off a cooldown. You able to get two days off the cooldown if you receive a recommendation from a naval officer plus or a XO or Commander.

Fireteam System

During your time in the battalion, you will see your fair share of missions and assignments. During your deployment you will be assigned to a fireteam. Fireteams will be made based off of the amount of 108th available and the needs of the ship, or during the mission. You will still work as collective unit altogether, but are split into smaller fireteam as if we need to split up. This is NOT the same as an RC squad. 108th fireteams will change per event as we must learn to work with EVERYONE in our battalion and are tasked based on supportive requirements of the situation.

Procedure during on-ship mission, is when any defcon is called, meet up in bunks for fireteam assignment, you will be divided into fireteams of 3 and given a call sign from the military alphabet, starting with “Fireteam Alpha”. Each team will consist of, normally, 2 operative members (BWO) and 1 Phantom unit (PU), the highest officer will be designated at the director (D) for the event, and coordinate the fireteams based off the other battalions or orders needs and their own discretion as 108th acts a main support role in helping others.

Procedure for off ship events is, during battalion line-up, fireteams will be assigned based off the same system, and be given a battalion to stay with. Battalion assignments will be either given out by naval or the Director. You will stay with your assigned battalion until told otherwise and the Fireteam leader will be given full control of their fireteam during the event.

*Fireteam composition will vary based on which members are available at the time*

*All of this is subject to change at any moment*

(Never done a roster I don't think of the forums before so may be bad and the last roster I did was the 501st roster during summer 2016 so sorry if it's bad >_<)
