This game is essentially an infinitely nicer-made gmod. Currently, custom scripts can't be made, but we can implement maps, models, materials, weapons, and other shit. It has tons of potential.

When we can set up a server, we should 110% create a CWRP server on Unreal Sandbox. I'm willing to learn how to port models into the game (which the process should be arguably easier than how you make models for gmod).

It may not happen anytime soon, but I think it's the way to go.

As someone who has a beta key for that game it isn't worth anything. It is a one guy team with no previous development experience who is using the unreal equivalent of code.org blocks to make the game. He is going to run into huge issues down the line.
The physics are fucking wack, the lighting sucks, the UI is horrendous, and the game is just a watered down garry's mod with a fraction of the playerbase. I am all for a new game with more modding possibilities but this ain't it.

If the developer figures out what he is doing and makes it stand out from garry's mod then it can actually turn into a good game but just remaking garry's mod in unreal engine isn't convincing me that this game is worth the time of anyone.

I have my optimism for its growth imo

I don't think it's gonna be ready anytime relatively soon in terms of setting up a cwrp server but

it looks promising and it's something I wanna keep an eye on

but as of now, it's just an idea to play around with

there's something real nice about gmod that no other game can replicate imo

It looks like a piece of shit, even compared to a 10+ years game.

Also I doubt that in a couple of months the game will turn into a better garrys mod.

99% of bln models is just retexturing and putting stuff from other existing models together, cotton learned how to model in no time

While yes, this game shows potential it is too early in its production to truly be given proper credit of being a an alternative to gmod. Letsall be honest Gmod is practically held together with Duct tape and spit nowadays. It limits what people can do in it such as modeling, landscaping, and game modes just because of its age. Now by no means is this a fault, its just the fact Gmod is a 10+ or so year old game.

Now saying "Oh this new game is shit" and everything is fine but you must remember this game is still in its infancy. Go back and look at how shit gmod was when it first came out. So while this "Unreal Sandbox" Game can be good, I feel it probably wont be suitable for SWRP for a long while. Still a good suggestion though.
