Nydo was taken at a young age from his home planet after Jedi Master Rahm Kota had found him to be force sensitive. The planet of which he was taken from, Planetos, is described as a primitive planet set in a feudal era and is located somewhere in the unknown regions. After being taken into the order he trained to become a Jedi knight and has reached the rank of High Councilor. During his service Nydo has earned many injuries including losing his left hand and having his sternum broken thus making him limp from time to time. He has also been described to be delusional as he reports seeing things in the shadows of a room, it has been diagnosed as a form of PTSD. No one knows why he dyes his hair black and does not let his natural hair color show. He also wares a neckless with a white kyber crystal attached. During the war he has been stationed with the Nox battle group and the Burst Link battle group.
