(Section A)

// Server theme and description //

Description: Half life 2 RP, is a fear based RP where it's between 1 and 2 decades after the combine rule over the planet. Civilians have been oppressed in this timeline and most live in fear of the combine while others find opportune times to strike back at the Combines powerful grip. With the combine placing a mask of propaganda and opportunities to those who submit to their order.

// General Rules //

We are a community, racism or flaming of ANY type is NOT allowed.
Staff members have final say in ALL situations.
Prop spawning is NOT allowed.
No one is to be segregated in our community. Do not harass people or act biased against them because of their age, gender, race, sexuality, etc.
Do not troll, flame, or otherwise be disruptive in/out of character.
Do NOT exploit any glitches on the server.
Do not encourage or tempt other players to break rules.
Do not Metagame, FailRP, Break Fear RP, Break NLR, or Commit RDM.
Do not bait out any PVP confrontations. This will be regarded as Fail RP and if any deaths occur because of this scenario you will receive another warning for random deathmatch, the severity will be affected by the amount of deaths, no matter the situation.
No random deathmatch. You must always have a valid RP reason to kill another player.
The abuse of exploits or glitches in any form or amount will result in the immediate and permanent removal from the server.
The use of any client side hack clients or any form of client side lua manipulation will result in the immediate and permanent removal from the server.
Be respectful to all players and administrators. We are all here to create lasting memories.
Do not break rules to enforce rules.
Any IRL threat towards either a fellow player or the community will result in the immediate removal from the community.
Admins will not respond to you if you use /ooc to report. Type /arequest <message> in order to call for an admin.
You must have a proper role play name, no unrealistic names.
Do not argue or use caps in OOC.
Scamming in and out of RP is NOT allowed and will not be tolerated.
You will not under any circumstances disrespect administrators or players, you will treat them with the utmost respect at all times.

(Section C)

// Rules of Combat //

The server is S2K (shoot to kill) essentially, if you have a weapon you’re free to use it.
Try your best to roleplay, don’t just go on a mass murdering spree because you have a working gun.

[*]The AR2 is a weapon that can only be unlocked through a Super Administrators+ permissions. Without it, usage of the weapon is Fail Roleplay.

[*]Nexus raids cannot happen unless six civil protection units or more are online.

[*]You must have a roleplay reason to kill someone that is not Combine. It’s considered RDM if not.

[*]Perma-kills cannot happen during an S2k event / situation. They can only happen during a /me confrontation.

[*]Roll fights can only happen between two participants, no one can add to their friends roll.

It’s a 1v1, interrupting a /me or attempting to add a roll to a fight is FailRP.

[*]When being mugged with a weapon pointed, Fear Roleplay is in effect. Your character should fear for their life.

// Rules of Voice (Chat) //

In Character Voice chat allowed for citizens only.
Voice chat is always in-character, things like mic-spam, and other non-sensical things can and will be caught by a staff member.

// Rule Specific //

Metagame, FailRP, RDM.

You are not allowed to talk in OOC(Out of character) while IC(In character) reasons, Example: You can not ask someone to come to a place in OOC.
Do not suicide to avoid an RP situation.
Do not abuse the /charfallover command. Exploiting it to get in and out of certain areas can result in staff punishment.
It is not allowed to break Roleplay unless inside an Admin Sit.
You must always have a valid RP reason for killing another player.

NLR

Do not break NLR (New Life Rule), this means that you are NOT allowed to go back to the place you died for 5 minutes, or revenge the player who killed you.

FearRP

FearRP, if someone is pointing a gun at you, you are not allowed to take out a weapon or run away. You need to fear the gun. After you get shot/shot at by the person keeping you under gunpoint, you are allowed to try run away to save yourself.
If kidnapped you may not attempt to break your binds while blindfolded unless you’ve been kidnapped for at least 10 minutes.

Metagame and FailRP

You are not allowed to talk in OOC(Out of character) while IC(In character) reasons, Example: You can not ask someone to come to a place in OOC.
Do not suicide or use /charfallover to avoid an RP situation.
Do not abuse the /charfallover command to bypass doors/barricades. Or to glitch in other places.
Do not disconnect from RP situations.

RDM

You must always have a valid RP reason for killing another player.
You cannot make someone attack you first to avoid RDMing them.

(Section H)

// Rule Definitions //

NLR (New Life Rule) - Meaning you return to the spot of your death without waiting 5 minutes. You forget everything in your past life, and act as a brand new character.

RDM (Random Deathmatch) - Killing someone randomly/without a RP reason.

FailRP - Failing to roleplay. Doing something in-game that you wouldn’t do in real life. ( i.e. Sitting on someone’s head )

Metagame - Using something that you were given OOC in Character. ( i.e. Someone says in OOC chat, the resistance base is underground and the combine raiding it. )

No exemption for Metropolice Force units, or any other faction.
