Do you have any previous experience moderating servers?: No, the most experience I have is working on the EM team. But I am willing to put in the time to learn.

What made you interested in applying for Staff ?( 100 word minimum): I would just like to help keep the server running smooth and help those who need it, as it is now I do my best with my limited EM powers but sometimes staff are needed and just aren’t available to help. 

I will be honest the next reason if a very selfish one and that’s I’m planning on leaving the EM team very soon and would still like to be able to host Sim for not only my Battalion but others as well. This position would allow me to purely focus on my and other battalions training as I won’t have to worry about doing 2 events a week which as of now is destroying my drive to play outside of Doing EM stuff.

As it currently stands I do think another applicant is much more deserving of the position than I am but it’s worth trying.

I have a lot of respect for the dedication you've had for the community, and the sheer effort I've seen you put in your events. Truth be told, you have been one of my favorite Eventmasters as of recent, and your events are among the few I've been able to enjoy and find more passion. It'll be sad to see you step down from EM. With that in mind, please don't take it personally when I say that I don't think you're ready for staff yet, though I do see a lot of potential.

I could nitpick at the formatting of your app a bit, between minor grammar things or the black text making the app harder to read, but I care more about your intentions as a Staff member more than anything else.

 While I appreciate your honesty in your application, this section makes your application the most off-putting to me.

The purpose of staff is to moderate the community and ensure a friendly, healthy, and welcoming environment for the playerbase to grow. While having powers to host sims/training for your battalion is a common desire for many, it should NOT be a main focus in consideration. With this in addition to the fact that you are still part of the EM team, this isn't a good look to have (trust me, I've been there).

For these reason, I do not feel you are ready for Staff yet. -1.

Please don't let this discourage you from pursuing Staff if you want to use it to help others and give back to the community. I would also encourage you to continue using your position as a CO as a positive example to others. Again, I feel that you definitely have a lot of potential, but I'm not convinced that you are ready yet.

For the formatting I must apologize as I was informed of the open position while I was at working and had to type it out on my phones notepad and copy paste it due to my bad connection. I wasn’t sure when they would pick the next applicant so I wanted to get my application submitted right away. The grammar is completely on me and is something I’m working on. 
 

As for the second half, I agree with you for the most part I do think I could have worded it better. Saying “purely focus”  on training makes it seem that’s the only reason I want the staff position, which it’s not. My hope is to be able to help those who need it whether I’d be training or any other issue they are having.
