This is something that I just recently came to notice after looking over the things we have access to in the main discord and the things available on the forums.
We have already moved the information, model section, bug report, and Battalion Info sections of these forums into the main discord with great success and I feel it might be a good time to look at the plausibility of moving some or all of the remaining functions found here into the main discord.
This would include:
Character Introductions- Jedi Discord has proven this to be extremely effective in their discord and adds deeper lore to the characters they play.
Suggestions- This would allow players to voice their opinions on things found on the server or suggest new additions for the Devs to look over.
Mission Documents- Would Allow EMs to post threads on their current/ongoing event lines and keep everyone informed.
All remaining donation threads- This has already been done with the models and has proven very effective.
Staff Apps- This would depend on what the leaders of the Staff team want done, not my place to voice anything.
The BLN forums have been in the community since it first began, and I am not calling for them to be shut down or anything, but it is clear that Discord is becoming a better foundation on which to base these important functions for the community to use and have access to.
I would love to hear some feed back on this idea, so drop a comment here or a like or something.
