Volka IV, not many people know about it, but it is quite important. The planet in question produces large swathes of crops on a yearly basis, and helps stem many inner and core worlds issues with starvation, it has been a long standing member of the Republic…reluctantly, but tensions have been boiling. Republic taxation has been particularly harsh on the world, because of its crop yield; and the world itself has seen massive land seizure and buy out from the Coruscant Financial And Banking Corporation, and this has over the years Driven Volka further and further away from the republic's loving arms. This unrest was stemmed for a time do to Governor Sardious Xam, a middling, uncharismatic technocrat, was elected into Office, with the promise of trying to lower the taxation, and he somewhat succeeded; unrest was still growing, but not at the rate it was previously…that was until the outbreak of the Clone Wars, when Republic tax offices, placed some of highest taxes on Volka, so it can gather even more of its harvest, do to rationing.
This turned a planet that was simply in unrest, into a planet engulfed in chaos, as people turned towards Radicalism, and hatred of the Republic, as they were left hungry, as Republic tax men, plundered their farms for crops, militias started forming and as Separatist were approaching Volka, we feared that sympathies would be high, and that Volka would join, at the first chance it got. So, the Governor planned to give a rallying cry of unity, and the forces from the Burst Link were gonna be deployed, to project that call with strength, to show any sympathizers, that the Republic was strong and that Unity was the best option there was.
That was Until Sardous had his brains blown out, and all hell broke loose. Quickly the Capital City was engulfed in chaos, as a Coordinated Rebel - Separatist assault began. Civilians within the city itself, began to pick up their guns and march out against the forces of the Burst Link. The Burst Link would have likely died that day, if it wasn’t for Sergeant Kyrios, and his quick thinking of crashing a vessel into the Munificent that was assisting in the assault of the city.
And quickly afterwards large swathes of the planet began to fall to the Rebels, as more and more of the population joined with their cause.

The situation at Volka IV, has only gotten more grim. The remains of the Loyalist Government were executed earlier this week, all except one. Interior Minister Ingan Xern, the few Loyalist militias that exist, were able to transport the Minister across much of hostile territory, until they reached the Tandan Mountains. By that point, his location was known and the Burst Link had to be deployed, so the Minister could be safely transported to the Loyalist capital of Sardon. Unfortunately for the Burst Link, Tandan has freak snow storms that completely disable aerial transport; thus they had to transport the Minister by using an ATTE.
This wouldn’t have been a problem, if the area wasn’t swarming with Rebels and Separatist, who quickly pounced upon the Republic forces, the snow obscuring their vision. But through grit and determination, the Burst Link was able to get the Minister to the evacuation point, right in time for the snow storm to clear up, and for a LAAT to come in and transport him out of there.

The City of Juudapel, was a Loyalist Stronghold. Built by the Coruscant Financial And Banking Corporation, the City was a modern marvel, on the very backwater world of Volka IV, its population consisted mostly of Coruscant Financial And Banking Corporation employees, police and government bureaucrats, as the local trade and tax services were hosted out of Juudapel, do to its proximity to important Coruscant Financial And Banking Corporation Offices. Surrounding the city though, were poor impoverished communities, often slaving away to pay back debts to the CFBC, debts which past from one generation to the next.
This made it both a vital target for the Rebels, due to its prominence as a Stronghold for the Loyalists, along with its history, representing the oppression of the CFBC. Thus, with a coordinated assault, led by Colonel Foster, the city began to fall. Artillery, tanks and bombing runs by gunships leveled it, as the rebels showed no mercy to any Loyalist, and made sure to level any CFBC buildings to the ground. The Burst Link was deployed, to handle this offensive, and save the city of Juudapel, from its brutal urban fighting.
Things didn't go well, Colonel Foster put the Burst Link through the wringer, through flanking, pinching and killing fields, he was able to decimate the Burst Links Forces, forcing them into a desperate retreat, as they got any loyalist civilians out. Through hell and high water, he continued to push the Burst Link back, until they were stuck in their base, fighting for their lives, but barely able to hold out against the tide, until evac came and whisked them and the loyalist civilians away. It was a dark day for the Republic, as the city of Juudapel was left in ashes, with the Separatist banner being flown over it.
