The sound of boots stomping across the floor echo through a vacant compound hallway. The singular Officer looks desperate, running from the Shock Troopers on his tail. He sweats, thinking to himself

"They've gotta know, they've gotta know..."

He enters a room of terminals and databanks, turning around to close the door. He opens a console, entering a code. The gate hisses shut, right in front of the two crimson clones. They bang on the door.

The Officer flips through terminals, he's breathing heavily. Sweat drips down his face, with the Uniform being of no help. He throws off his cap. "They had families, Advisor, I had a family, Advisor. But you wouldn't know that..."

The Officer opens a datapad, linking it up to the console. He uploads file after file to an open network.

"Maybe it wasn't your fault, Advisor, maybe it was the Venator, or your training, or whatever, but they've gotta know..."

The door is busted down and a rayshield gives way with a loud electric spark. One button is pressed down, and the upload is finalized. The Officer is then stunned...

But the news catches on fast, Advisor 1937 and the Burst Link Venator, a doomed duo, bound to fail from the start.

Articles reach the clones fast, similar to the rest of the galaxy. Rebellions, revolutions, rethought alliances. Some form of action needs to be taken. What could this mean for Galactic Stability?

After the investigation and returning to the venator, Sapphire would enter the 501st bunks, and sit down on his bed. He noticed a holo pad showing the report. He picked up the holo pad, and began reading the leaks. His facial expression changed from tired to confused.

"W-what.. is this..?" Sapphire would say while looking at the leaks. He got to the Advisor's story, and made his hands into fists. He was disgusted by the two articles.

"What the hell happened while I was gone?"

On a quiet, dark yet strange night, the streets of a far city on the planet Lothal were abnormally desert except for two figures, clearly different from normal citizens.

Into the distance there were colored lights and loud and a bit muffled music coming out of what seemed to be a stadium.

As the two figures walked down the streets, they had noticed both the amount of mess around and the weird lack of people, the taller and darker figure looked to his left, noticing a bunch of scattered newspaper on the ground, somehow he was able to take a clear look of the entire page just by passing near it "Mmh...I see. I'm afraid we'll have to end our last trial sooner than I thought, Sol. Your friends will need some help." the younger figure looked at him, with a confused look on his face full of sweat probably thanks the what seemed to be some heavy weight on his backpack but he did not stop walking.

The dark armored fellow kept walking followed slowly by the young man as he also looked to his left side, noticing the newspaper, then quickly gazed back to his mentor "What? How did you even-" interrupted by the other figure "Shush. You'll know in due time, do not let this information distract you, let's keep going. You don't want this to take the entire night, do you now?" the young, unexperienced man stopped to take a breath then sprinted back to the side of his shadowy mentor, both ready to enter the metallic colosseum in front of them.

Éo didn't so much as bat an eye as he read over the essay, the glare from the datapad shining onto his helmet like a nightlight. He was laying in an awkward position, having taken refuge in a maintenance shaft somewhere in the lower levels of the Venator. It was one of the few places where one could be completely unsupervised, to his knowledge anyway. The dark cramped corridors were strangely calming in their eerie silence. It was perhaps the only place he could try and be at ease.

That didn't make it easy for him to empathize though, wondering to himself what would drive someone to risk it all for the truth to come out. Those lessons from the Kaminii drilling themselves deeper into his brain. Commandos were made to keep things like this from getting out after all.

He shifted around a bit, cursing breathlessly as he started to lose feeling in his legs. His posture needed work.

The commando read over the first article again, both searching through his mind and the database connected to his helmet for anything about that 'R0V3R' device. A vague memory of some mission where he was nearly left behind with Vic arose. Another mission gone bad due to no communication and black ops acting as infantry. It was such an overused punchline that he couldn't even form the smallest of smiles. He was on the receiving end of it after all. But to his recollection the droid hadn't used sound based attacks. Matter of fact it hadn't done much at all apart from leaping as far and high as an AT-RT. Perhaps that mission had been slightly amusing after all.

The second article grabbed his attention again, now having many conflicting thoughts. At first his impression was the officer was a simple scapegoat, but he personally knew that wasn't the case. Vic had been... Extorted? Blackmailed? By that officer. At least, he thought that had happened. Éo frowned, struggling as he tried to remember. Something about unnecessary civilian casualties. Purposeful ones. Some woman in a sewer. Finally he let out a frustrated sigh, and shook his head. The commando went very still after that, his brain itself struggling to return to the idleness of reading. The lack of memory not only disturbed him - it scared him.

Another deep breath. Just think. It's really that simple. 75 turned his focus back to the hit piece, mulling over the quote from the Senator. It wasn't his place to get involved in politics - especially not now. But a point was made, a good one at that. A small sliver of hope started to crawl up from the depths of his heart, though he didn't really notice or acknowledge the feeling.

Actually, his mind was on something else entirely - the people who had written and published these writings. An idea started to grow in the back of his skull, festering like a cancerous tumor as he gave it a more solid form. This officer's incompetence and gross crimes might just be the galaxy's best time incidental genocide.

For 75, at least.

Underneath that T-shaped visor, a smile began to creep onto the commando's face. A genuine one at that. This could work out after all.

Even if the helmet wasn't on, no one could see his face in the dark. Or his thoughts.

They'd know eventually, though.

In due time.

Are you turning Eo into a Psychopath, and/or insane, or am I reading this last part wrong.
